Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Reward for Lost Pet in Mexico to £15k
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has raised the incentive for information concerning the missing canine named Halo to $20,000.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now is with Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that Halo was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
the dog, who went missing on October 9th, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any information concerning our pet Halo please contact us. Significant reward for locating her. We are all hoping she's ok and will return to our family shortly," the athlete shared on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Pleas
The footballer first disclosed that his dog had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently uploaded multiple images of the beloved canine on Instagram.
A £7,500 reward was initially announced, but with absence of information on the dog's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the sum.
"All we desire is our pet home," he said in an additional request on his online platforms after the decade-old dog disappeared.
The latest image post is a black and white snapshot of the beagle snoozing, its head resting in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I'd do to hold you again Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also posted a statement from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have a few "important queries" regarding the incident and fear the household "might not receive answers".
"We have yet to haven't found Halo. I fear we will ever," his wife's message stated.
The Welsh captain signed with Mexican first division club Pumas UNAM recently and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
